Alonzo Byrd
Alonzo Byrd is Director of Business Development and Community Engagement for the Ascension Charity Classic presented by Emerson, a PGA TOUR Champions event at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis. Working with HNS Sports Group, he partners with local and national businesses to support the tournament and manages relationships with nonprofit beneficiaries.
A former Assistant Vice President of Public Affairs at Enterprise Holdings, Alonzo led corporate citizenship initiatives nationwide. He also spent 15 years at Fleishman-Hillard, advising Fortune 500 brands and nonprofit organizations on media relations, corporate communications, and diversity efforts. A native of East St. Louis, he began his career in journalism and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
