Thanks-For-Giving

Parade

A large inflatable turkey float dressed as a pilgrim with a black hat, red vest, and yellow beak, in a parade on a city street in front of historic buildings decorated for a holiday, with people walking and watching the parade.

A St. Louis tradition.

A season of giving.

Join us downtown for the 42nd Thanks-For-Giving Parade, presented by Celebrate St. Louis.

Saturday, November 21, 2026 · 2:00 p.m.
Downtown St. Louis

Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of marching bands, festive floats, community spirit—and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Celebrate St. Louis is proud to partner with the Gateway Arch Park Foundation to bring our community together for the Thanks-For-Giving Parade and the start of the holiday season downtown.

Parade goers can look forward to parade units, including musical floats, dance groups, vibrant displays, drumlines, and marching bands from across the St. Louis region. And of course, Santa Claus will make his traditional appearance to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season.
