WHAT IS CELEBRATE SAINT LOUIS?
Get ready for the launch of Celebrate Saint Louis a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that strives to engage, serve and celebrate our region by providing diverse, impactful and entertaining experiences to support worthy charities that serve our communities.
By producing year-round events that showcase Saint Louis culture and support a diverse group of nonprofit organizations, Celebrate Saint Louis illustrates our region’s stand-out charitable reputation alongside our history of celebration and connection dating back to St. Louis’s founding in 1764.
.This year, it will include concerts, fireworks and more. This July 3rd and 4th, offers a day of engaging activities, including live performances, family-friendly attractions, tasty food options, and concludes with a beautiful fireworks display ensuring a delightful summer experience for everyone.
This year, enjoy two nights of our Fireworks! Experience world-class fireworks over the Mississippi River, beautifully framed by the Gateway Arch, on both Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th at approximately 9:40 p.m. each night. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss!
IS CELEBRATE SAINT LOUIS FREE?
Yes, Celebrate Saint Louis is a free event, thanks to the generous support of our many sponsors and partners, and the tireless efforts of our hundreds of volunteers, allowing the public to safely enjoy America’s Biggest Birthday Party.

WHAT PROTOCOLS ARE BEING ENACTED TO ENSURE PATRONS HAVE A SAFE EXPERIENCE?
Hosting a safe event for our patrons is the first priority of Celebrate Saint Louis. Our team is working closely with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, St. Louis Fire Department, the National Park Service, and private security teams to ensure we have the appropriate levels of security for our visitors throughout the duration of the event..
WILL THE EVENT HAVE A SECURE PERIMETER AND SECURITY CHECKPOINTS AT EACH ENTRANCE?
Yes. Hosting a safe event is our first priority. The footprint will cover a designated area centered Leonore K Sullivan, and several safety checkpoints will be stationed at each entrance. We are working with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, National Park Service officials and other partners on securing each entrance.
WHAT ABOUT SECURITY IN THE PARK AT NIGHT?
Wherever the location or time of day, hosting a safe Celebration is always our first priority. Our team is working closely with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the National Park Service, and private security teams to ensure safety remains its first priority – both during the event and after the evening fun.
WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR BAD WEATHER?
The Celebrate team is actively working with public emergency personnel to ensure our inclement weather plan remains valid for this year. In the event of bad weather, updates will be published to our website, social media channels, as well as through our media partners and on the jumbotron screens.

Event attendees entering Lenora K. Sullivan are permitted to bring the following items into the grounds: small, handheld umbrellas; baby strollers and wagons; diaper bags; regular-sized bags; one factory-sealed water bottle of up to 1 liter in volume; empty plastic water bottles; binoculars; pocket-sized or still camera equipment; and service animals. Please note that all items are subject to inspection upon entry.

Attendees are prohibited from bringing the following items when entering Lenora K. Sullivan: alcoholic beverages; glass, metal, or unsealed containers exceeding 1 liter; coolers of any kind; outside food; large containers; weapons; knives; explosives; illegal substances; drones; pets (excluding service animals); bicycles; skateboards; scooters; personalized motor vehicles; fireworks; professional recording and/or photography equipment (as defined by Celebrate Saint Louis, this includes digital SLR cameras with detachable lenses); selfie sticks; and signs or banners.

Which stop do I use on Metrolink?!
Ride MetroLink and hop off at Laclede’s Landing Station to walk south and join the festivities.
Celebrate Saint Louis features food, family fun, and live entertainment along the riverfront on July 3rd (gates open at 4:00 p.m.) and July 4th (gates open at 2:00 p.m.) Let MetroLink make it easy — just hop off at Laclede’s Landing Station and you’re just steps away from the celebration.
For the fireworks extravaganza, bring your blankets or lawn chairs and find the perfect spot on the Arch Grounds for an unforgettable view.
After the grand finale, head to Laclede’s Landing, Stadium, or Convention Center Station for a smooth and convenient MetroLink ride home.

To ensure safety and maintain traffic flow during Celebrate Saint Louis, please note the following road closures and diversions:
On July 3rd and July 4th, the following closures begin at 4:00 PM:
No traffic permitted eastbound on Chouteau, east of 4th Street.
By 8:00 PM:
Eastbound Market, east of Tucker, will close (possibly earlier).
Walnut and Chestnut will be closed to eastbound traffic at Tucker.
By 9:00 PM:
South Broadway will be diverted westbound onto Market.
4th Street North traffic will be diverted east onto Walnut, then onto I-44 South.
4th Street, north of Walnut, will be directed to Washington Avenue.
Broadway south of Market remains open, but no turns onto Walnut will be allowed.
At 9:15 PM:
4th Street North will close at Chouteau.
Broadway South will close at Washington.
Gratiot, east of 6th Street, will be closed.
