Richard L. Nix, Jr. has led Butler’s Pantry for more than 30 years, carrying forward the vision established by his father when the company was founded in 1966. Since assuming leadership in 1992, he has expanded Butler’s Pantry into a full-service hospitality group with a large team, multiple exclusive venues, and more than 40 preferred venue partners across the St. Louis region.
Richard is also deeply involved in the community, contributing to iconic events such as the Great Forest Park Balloon Race and Celebrate Saint Louis, while supporting numerous nonprofit organizations. He now works alongside the third generation of his family as the company continues to grow.
